The parade featured the Novi Marching Band, homecoming court, floats and cheerleaders.
The Novi homecoming parade brought out a crowd of people to Taft Road Friday evening. The theme of homecoming this year is "Armed Forces...United We Stand," and each grade made a float for each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
The parade featured the freshmen, sophomore and junior homecoming prince and princessess and the senior homecoming court.
The high school marching band, dance company, cheerleaders and equestrian team also marched in the parade.

The United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol Sixgate Composite Squadron lead the parade with Grand Marshall Chad Odell.
Taft was shut down from 11 Mile Road to 10 Mile Road as the parade traveled from to beginning at 5 p.m.
