Novi Boys Basketball Falls to Lincoln Park, John Glenn

The Novi boys varsity basketball team lost Tuesday to Lincoln Park 33-42. We did not play with a lot of emotion and struggled to score early and late in the game. There were some bright spots, but too many errors to win the game. Tre Cadwell, Scott Kempa and Nelson Cagle all had eight points.

On Friday the team lost to John Glenn 29-56. We had a hard time scoring in the first half due to their intense pressure on our guards. We did not handle it well. They were the superior team, and we did not do things well enough to keep it close. We cut it to eight points in the third quarter and never got any closer. We have a lot of work to do on fundamentals before we'll be able to progress as a team.

The Wildcats' next game is away on Jan. 6 vs. South Lyon East High School at 7 p.m.
