Some of the most dangerous intersections in Oakland Township are also among the busiest intersections in the township, according to data from the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG).

"The number of accidents at these intersections is relative to the volume of traffic," said Sgt. Tony Spencer, commander of the Oakland County Sheriff's Office substation in Oakland Township.

"Slow down and look out for your fellow drivers," he added. "They're just trying to get home, too."

Here are the top 10 most dangerous intersections in Oakland Township:

  1. Adams Road and Dutton Road
  2. Adams Road and Silver Bell Road
  3. Rochester Road and East Romeo Road
  4. Rochester Road and Mead Road
  5. Adams Road and West Gunn Road
  6. Rochester Road and West Snell Road
  7. Silver Bell Road and Silvercreek Boulevard
  8. 32 Mile Road and East Romeo Road
  9. Adams Road and Orion Road
  10. Silver Bell Road and Kern Road
