The Oakland Pet Adoption Center and bd’s Mongolian Grill are teaming up to hold the first Dine 'n' Donate guest grilling event 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at bd’s Mongolian Grill in Auburn Hills. Proceeds will fund low-cost spay and neuter clinics for Oakland County residents.
“With so much community concern over euthanasia, the best plan of action is to spay or neuter animals before they can reproduce and contribute to animal overpopulation,” said Joanie Toole, supervisor of the Oakland County Animal Control Division. “Euthanasia should never be the ‘go-to’ for shelters; spreading awareness and early prevention is key.”
The Dine 'n' Donate event will feature surprise guest grillers who will create a unique stir-fry experience. There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 raffles to win cash or cool prizes.
