Historical Society Seeks Artwork for Goodison Exhibit

The Oakland Township Historical Society and the Goodison Exhibit Committee are looking for artwork that features the Goodison area. We would like to feature artwork and photographs to compliment an exhibit entitled "Goodison...our history centers on the mill," which will open on Sept. 30.

The exhibit and art show will be held at the , which now houses the Oakland Township Parks and Recreation Commission offices, Historic District Commission and Six Rivers Conservancy.

The art show will not be juried, nor prizes awarded. We currently have several older watercolors and line drawings of the buildings and homes in Goodison and would like to add new local talent to this exhibit. We would encourage local artists to contact committee members for more specifics.
