In an effort to better the lives of the Native Americans of Wolf Point, MT, Dr. Scot Tasco and Goodison Family Chiropractic in Oakland Township have teamed up with The New Renaissance – a group of about 60 chiropractors – to participate in the Love Has No Color project at Fort Peck Native American Reservation.
The project serves to "change the Native American community and help them put pride back in their people," Tasco wrote in a press release.
"We are going to be sending a Native American from Wolf Point Reservation in Montana to chiropractic school," he added. "That person will then return to the reservation and open a chiropractic office on the reservation. This will bring an opportunity for a health expression and potential for life into this community while preserving its heritage and culture."

"We are choosing to begin by changing our community and the Native American community on the reservation," wrote Tasco.
Funds raised for Love Has No Color will also be used to hold a confidence-building Boot Camp for youth on the reservation July 22-23. This past school year alone, five middle school students from the reservation committed suicide; 20 attempted suicide but were not successful.
