Proposed Amendment to Country Creek Planned Unit Development ("PUD") Zoning and Final Development Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Charter Township of Oakland, Oakland County, Michigan will be holding a Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments on a proposed amendment to the Country Creek Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning and final development plan (including special land use and site plan) for Country Creek Commons Shopping Center.

Submitted by Burton-Katzman, owner. A summary of the proposed amendments being requested are:

1. Amendment to add vet clinic and animal grooming as allowed uses within the Country Creek Commons Shopping Center portion of the PUD
2. Amend the current signage regulations applicable to the Country Creek Commons Shopping Center portion of the PUD
3. Amendment to allow unspecified special events within the Country Creek Commons Shopping Center portion of the PUD.

The public hearing will be held at the , 4393 Collins Road, Oakland Township, Michigan, at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. The application and attachments pertaining to this request may be inspected between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for observed holidays, at the Oakland Township Hall, 4393 Collins Road, Rochester, Michigan 48306. Written comments concerning this application can be submitted to Elaine Leven, at the above Township Hall address during the above business hours or at eleven@oaklandtownship.org any time prior to the date of the hearing.
