Ask the Appraisers: How Much is This Worth?

Have you ever wondered how much that antique tea set is worth? How about your grandfather's rifle, or that oil painting you picked up at a garage sale last year?

On Sunday, you won't have to wonder any more, thanks to the Oakland Township Historical Society.

Just like Antique Road Show, the society's is a chance for you to bring your treasures to the from noon-4 p.m. on Sunday to .

Oral appraisals are just $5, and written appraisals are $20; the historical society also asks for a $2 donation at the door.

Several local experts will be in attendance, including:

• Lavere Webster: art, oils, prints, engravings needlepoint samplers
• Sue Kane: china and glass
• Michael Wolk-Laniewski: dolls and doll items
• Bob Krug: furniture, china, glass, pottery, art pastel, oil, lamps
• Bill Pietrzyk: furniture, lighting and clocks
• Dick Cronin and Jim Kelly: guns and weapons
• Paul Haig: hewelry and Eastern art
• Todd Cunningham: Native American artifacts
• Fred Fleming: pottery, lamps, china, porcelain, collectibles
