Blowing and Drifting Snow Continues Through Morning, More Snow Coming

Many residents woke up to an extra two inches of snow on the ground this morning, and a winter weather advisory is still in effect for Oakland County until 11 a.m., though the bulk of the snow has already passed.

Snow is still blowing and drifting, and some roads remain slippery this morning. Northerly wind gusts of up to 30 miles per hour will continue through the morning.

No delays are reported at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), though some traffic delays are reported. For a current traffic map, click here.

More snow is likely tomorrow, with an inch or so falling during the day and another inch possible in the evening.
