The firearms may have been used in a fatal shooting at a bar in Detroit.

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies from the Oakland Township Substation assisted Detroit Police officers in executing a search warrant near Oakmonte and Silvercreek boulevards just after 10 a.m. Friday, according to an incident report from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

"The warrant was for firearms that may have been used in a fatal shooting at a bar in the city of Detroit," read the report. The resident whose home was searched is a bouncer at the bar and "may have had some involvement in the incident."
