Lake Orion Boys Cross Country Team Sprints to 11th Place at State Finals
Lake Orion's TJ Carey placed fourth overall in the MHSAA cross country individual finals.
The Lake Orion High School Boys Cross Country team finished 11th overall at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Lower Peninsula Cross Country Finals Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, MI.
Lake Orion High School junior TJ Carey finished fourth overall in the individual finals with an impressive time of 15:32.3.
Team members included TJ Carey, David Diaz, Ryan Singles, Justin Prawdzik, Aaron Kaufman, George Modrak and Jacob Houlihan.

One member of the Lake Orion Girls Cross Country team also competed in the state cross country finals. Lake Orion High School senior Ashley Bartreau finished 141st overall with a total time of 20:00.5.
