North Oakland Community Coalition Announces Family Fun Color Run/Walk
Inaugural run/walk set to take place May 11 in Lake Orion.
To celebrate National Prevention Week, the North Oakland Community Coalition will host its annual Family Fun Color Run/Walk from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on May 11 at Friendship Park in Lake Orion.
Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear white and leave colorful. After the run, families are welcome to stay and enjoy face painting, bounce houses, pony rides and refreshments.
The cost to attend is $15 per individual or $35 for a family of up to four. All participants receive a white t-shirt.

The family-oriented event supports the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s efforts to increase public awareness of substance abuse and mental health issues.
