On the Agenda: Country Creek Commons Public Hearing
Amendments to the shopping center's Planned Unit Development would include the ability to have veterinary clinics, animal grooming and new signage.
The Oakland Township Planning Commission is holding a public hearing tonight regarding the request for Country Creek Commons Shopping Center, located at Adams and Silverbell roads. The proposed changes were submitted by owner Burton-Katzman and include:
- The ability to add veterinary clinics and animal grooming
- Amending the current signage regulations on the site
- The ability to have unspecified special events on the site
The application and attachments pertaining to this request may be inspected at  between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on holidays. Written comments concerning this application can be submitted to Planning Coordinator Ellen Witz at ewitz@oaklandtownship.org or by sending written correspondence to Oakland Township Hall, 4393 Collins Road, Oakland Township, MI 48306.
The commission will also decide whether to approve a study regarding the rezoning of Blossom Ridge on the northwest corner of Adams and Dutton roads (street address of 5870 Adams Road).
