Man Steals Admiral's Gas; Police Arrest Intoxicated Men With Guns

The following is a recap of recent news from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office:
Vehicle vandalized with spray paint
A man reported on July 29 that someone had spray painted black paint over the front and rear lights and license plate of his 1990s Oldsmobile while it was parked in his girlfriend's driveway on Sunburst Circle in Oakland Township.
According to a report from the sheriff's office, the victim believes the vandalism is racially motivated, as he is black and his girlfriend is white.Â

Engaged couple cited for disorderly conduct
A couple from Walled Lake was cited for disorderly conduct on Aug. 5 after Oakland County Sheriff's deputies found them fighting near Silverbell and Lapeer roads around 2 a.m.
A deputy found the 26-year-old woman walking east down Silverbell from the Orion Commerce Center. According to the report, she had bloodshot eyes, her speech was slurred and she smelled of intoxicants. Nearby, her 28-year-old fiancee was yelling her name.

According to the report, the couple had been drinking at a bar in Auburn Hills and had a fight. The woman was cited for disorderly conduct, preliminary breath test refusal, driving an unregistered vehicle and improper plates. The male was cited for disorderly conduct.
Man steals gasoline from Admiral
An Admiral gas station employee called police just before 7 a.m. on Aug. 5 after a man pulled up in an older model black Ford F-150, pumped approximately $38 in gasoline and then left without paying, according to a police report from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.Â
The man is described as 60 years old, 5 feet 9 inches, 200 pounds and wearing a burgundy baseball hat. He had a full beard and a mustache.Â
Men arrested for using firearms while intoxicated
Oakland County Sheriff's deputies responded to Central Drive in Orion Township the evening of Aug. 7 after receiving reports of shots fired in the area.
According to a police report, deputies found two men, a 23-year-old from Oxford and a 21-year-old from Lake Orion, in the area. Officers also found several firearms on a table inside the garage "in plain view," according to the report.
Both told police they had been drinking and using the rifles and handguns. Preliminary Breath Test results for the man from Oxford were .23, and the PBTÂ results for the Lake Orion man were .25.
A report was written, and charges against both men for possession or use of firearm by a person under the influence are pending following results of a blood test.Â
