Teenager Making 'Doughnuts' in Yard Gets Stuck in Mud, Ticketed

The following information was obtained from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office substation in Oakland Township.

A resident on Cairncross Drive returned home Wednesday afternoon to discover two teenagers trying to free their vehicle, which was stuck in the mud in her front yard, according to an report.

The driver told deputies he "was turning around in the driveway, but got onto the grass and got stuck, and then tried to get it unstuck and made it worse," according to the report.

After further questioning, he admitted to "doing donuts on the lawn intentionally" and causing significant damage to the lawn, and to calling his friend to pull him out "so he would not get into any trouble," according to the report.
