Police Blotter: Mud, Dead Frog Thrown on Vehicle; Grill Stolen from Burned Home

Grill, Christmas lights stolen from destroyed home
On Monday, the owners of a home that was discovered that someone had stolen their stainless steel grill and several packages of LED Christmas lights from the property, according to an Oakland County Sheriff's Office report.
The residence had been fenced in and taped off by the , but the driveway and items were still visible and accessible. There are no suspects at this time.
Man throws mud, dead frog on neighbor's car
A resident on the 3600 block of Tremonte Circle called the police Wednesday after he discovered someone had thrown mud and a dead frog on his vehicle, according to a sheriff's office report.

The resident suspected that his neighbor, with whom he has been feuding for more than a year, was responsible. After questioning, the resident's neighbor "admitted to putting the mud and frog on the car," the report said.
There was no actual damage to the vehicle, and the case was closed.

Car window smashed
On Saturday evening or Sunday morning, someone "threw or swung something at the rear left side window" of a resident's vehicle on West York Court, shattering the window, according to a sheriff's office report. There are no suspects at this time.
False alarm on Forest Ridge
An Oakland County Sheriff's deputy responded to an alarm Wednesday afternoon on Forest Ridge Court and discovered a door ajar on the west side of the home, according to a sheriff's office report. Nothing appeared out of place; the door was secured before the deputy left.
