Police Blotter: Wallet, iPod Stolen from Vehicle; Costume Jewelry Stolen from Home
Here's a review of the past week's police news from the Sheriff's Office Substation in Oakland Township.

Property stolen from car at Living Word Lutheran Church
A wallet, driver's license, school ID, credit card, several gift cards, loose change and an iPod were stolen last week from a vehicle parked at Living Word Lutheran Church on Rochester Road.
The victim was attending an overnight lock-in Feb. 25 at the church and said she thought she had locked her car doors. There were no signs of forced entry.
Window smashed, costume jewelry stolen from home
Several pieces of costume jewelry and watches were stolen on the night of Feb. 25 from a home near Stoney Creek and Rochester roads.

The thieves threw a propane gas cylinder through the patio door window to gain entry, then ransacked the master bedroom. Miscellaneous costume jewelry and three or four Timex watches were stolen; items were relatively inexpensive and valued at $200 total. A pillowcase was also missing.
Footprints were observed in the snow outside of the home near the rear perimeter.
