A warm front moving in from Ohio may cause hazardous weather conditions in the area today.

The hazardous weather outlook for today has been revoked, though there is still a chance of snow showers this morning, according to the National Weather Service in Pontiac.

Snow showers are possible through 10 a.m., and wind my gust as high as 28 mph at times. Above-freezing temperatures may melt significant amounts of snow today, causing water to pond some areas.

Temperatures are expected to fall to freezing by 5 p.m. with an overnight low of 13 degrees; winds may gust as high as 20 mph tonight. The rapidly falling temperatures could lead to "icy conditions on untreated surfaces where moisture lingers from the rain and snow."
