More Light Snow Tonight, Mild Weather Tomorrow

Warmer temperatures Thursday may have melted much of the leftover snow from , but fear not – there will likely be a fresh dusting of the white stuff by Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.

A weak and fast-moving low pressure system will move through the area overnight, possibly coating the area in another inch or so of fresh snow, according to a hazardous weather outlook on the weather service's website.

The snow will likely develop after 1 a.m. and taper off Friday morning.

Friday morning will be cloudy, gradually clearing by mid morning with a high near 37 degrees and a low around 26.
