Wintry Mix Could Cause Hazardous Wednesday Morning Commute
A low pressure system is expected to move through the area late tonight and early tomorrow morning bringing with it snow, sleet and freezing rain.

Here we go again. An expected mix of snow, sleet and/or freezing rain could make for hazardous driving conditions tonight and into Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Much like last Friday's early-morning freezing rain, which in the area and even shut down portions of local freeways, tonight's low pressure system and incoming precipitation could again create poor road conditions just in time for Wednesday morning's commute.
The NWS warns that "northern portions of the metro Detroit area through the I-69 corridor will likely experience a light glazing before temperatures warm above freezing," and that precipitation will begin as "a wintry mix of snow, sleet or possibly freezing rain" before transitioning to rain as temperatures rise above freezing into Wednesday afternoon.
