The single most pressing issue facing our state is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
After Covid, there is going to be a strong push by all local & state levels of government to raise taxes. If you elect only R's and D's, I'll pretty much bet, your tax burden is going up. If you believe that the government can solve every problem, I'm not your candidate. But if you know that less government is better, that vote for the Independent, Libertarian

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I'm willing to run "outside the box", not as an R or D. An Independent candidate has a tremendous disadvantage with straight ticket voting. Many voters will cast a R or D at the top and stop. In Michigan you can vote “mixed” ticket. Even if you cast a straight ticket, you can come down to Trustee and vote LeBlanc. I respectfully ask, No matter if you vote R or D at the top, or identity as a R or D, for Trustee, cast a vote for LeBlanc.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Business Owner. Served as Sec/Treas for ~10 years for a educational non-profit 501c3

What steps should state government take to bolster economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic for local businesses?
Reduce regulations. This economic pain is government induced, not virus induced

How will you address the calls for racial justice and police reform?
It is easy to break a law or rule you didn't even know existed. We have to many laws and regulations. If you decrease the amount of times where you interact with law enforcement, you will decrease the incidence of negative encounters. Police are needed, even in a civilized society, so I would not defund the police. But, if there is no victim, then it really should not be a crime.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:
Your rights are God given, not government given. Very basic premise, but don't harm your neighbor, don't steal his property. If we can concentrate on the basics, we can reduce the over regulation and over taxed state,

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I respectfully ask for your vote to hire me for the next four years to represent you. I'm really not a politician, I'm your neighbor. I will never put myself above you, I'll always be the guy from LakePointe.
