Canton Township Police arrested a man on charges of K-2/Spice possession 11:25 p.m. Nov. 18 near the intersection of Ford and Canton Center roads, according to a police report.
Two officers observed a gray 2009 Ford Focus traveling westbound on Ford Road near Sheldon change lanes abruptly between two cars and overtake them without signaling, the report said, so the officers conducted a traffic stop.
The driver said he was on his way to Off the Hookah in Canton, according to the report. The officer saw an out-of-state license plate on the floor behind the driver’s seat, the report said. The driver was evasive in his response when asked whether the vehicle had ever been registered out of state, according to the report, and said the license plate did not belong to his car or any vehicle of his.

The officer searched the vehicle and located a clear plastic cylinder shaped bottle labeled “Smokin’ Camel Potpourri” and the substance inside was a leafy green and brown, which appeared consistent with K-2 the officer had seen before, the report said.
