Canton Police Seeking Help In Shooting Incident
Shots were fired in the parking lot of the Golden Gate Shopping Center on March 24. No injuries were reported.

CANTON, MI — Canton Police is asking the public for help in its investigation of shots being fired in the parking lot of the Golden Gate Shopping Center on March 24. Lt. Mike Steckel said there were no injuries from the incident, which occurred at about 11 p.m.
A pair of vehicles were struck, however. No estimate of damages was reported by police. Officers responded to the shopping plaza, which is located on Lilley Road south of Joy Road, after the police department received several phone calls from alarmed patrons about shots being fired.
