Downtown Plymouth: Celebrate The End Of Winter With A Movie Or Live Music

The Samuel Harris Duo will be featured at Fiamma Grille on Main Street both Friday and Saturday.

PLYMOUTH, MI — This weekend is winter’s last gasp and, let’s face it, almost nobody will be unhappy to see it go. Although it has been relatively mild, winter’s sunless, short days have gotten old. So why not celebrate the end of the season by finding something fun to do?

“Lion” will be featured at The Penn Theatre starting Friday night at 7 p.m. The movie tells the story of five-year-old Saroo, who gets lost on a train that takes him thousands of miles across India. He must learn to survive alone in Kolkata, before ultimately being adopted. Two decades later, he sets out to find his lost family and return to his first home. Additional showtimes include 9:15 p.m. Friday, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Downtown Plymouth will also be alive with music. Here’s a quick rundown of music for March 17-18:
