Man, 82, Hit, Killed By Car In Wayne County: Reports
Police said man was riding a three-wheeled bicycle across a busy road without a crosswalk when he was hit by a car.
LIVONIA, MI — An 82-year-old man died Thursday after he was hit by a car while trying to cross a busy roan on a bicycle in Wayne County, according to reports.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. Thursday on Middlebelt Road near 5 Mile Road in Livonia, reports said.
Police said man was riding a three-wheeled bicycle across Middlebelt Road without a crosswalk when he was hit by a car. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, police said.

The driver involved in the crash, a 44-year-old woman, stop at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, reports said.
Police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
