Happy Friday Wildcats!
Thank you to everyone that was able to attend parent teacher conferences with your child’s teacher. I know that our teachers have enjoyed getting to know your students as people and as learners. So many wonderful things are happening here at school. Thank you to all our amazing teachers and staff who work so hard every day to make sure that our students are learning and growing every day.
- As we are beginning to notice an increase in COVID-19 cases in Michigan, I just want to remind families to use this screener form before sending your student to school.
- The lost and found table in the lobby is getting really full. We will be spreading out items on the tables in the lobby next Monday and Tuesday. If your student is missing a hat, coat, water bottle, or anything, please be sure and stop by during school hours to check out the table.
- Tutoring sessions will be held at both the Canton Public Library and Plymouth District Library. The program follows P-CEP and P-CCS rules, and students are required to wear masks and bring any relevant textbooks or class work with them.

- P-CCS’ transportation provider, Durham School Services, is hiring a general manager to lead the district’s transportation team. The position pays between $100k and $110k per year. Learn more about the position, what Durham is offering, and apply on their website here: https://careers.nellc.com/plymouth-mi/general-manager-i/A31E2E3E3E7B48F69295215D7F288556/job/
- Parent Council is a liaison between P-CCS families and administration to provide a forum for open communication and act as an advocate for all parents, students and schools. Parent Council is a representative group of parents from each school building in the District. Members bring issues from their individual schools to discuss with the School Council representatives. Programs and speakers inform members about educational issues that concern P-CCS students and parents. All meetings are open to the public, and guests often include School Board Members, District Administrators, Program Specialists, and Community Leaders.
- Meetings are held monthly and all families of P-CCS students are welcome to attend to learn about current events and programs. The next Parent Council meeting will be on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. in the E. J. McClendon Educational Center located at 454 S. Harvey, Plymouth The meeting can be viewed on the district’s official YouTube Channel at any time after Friday.
