Plymouth United Way Hosts Human Trafficking Discussion

Plymouth UW will be partnering with several organizations to present a human trafficking discussion on Apr. 22.

From Plymouth Community United Way: Plymouth Community United Way in partnership with Comcast Cares Day, S.O.A.P. Metro Detroit, and Pearls of Great Price Coalition are hosting a community discussion about human trafficking. “Soapers” will learn what human trafficking is, hear from a survivor, and be able to join the initiative by helping to label bars of hotel soap, that will be distributed at a later date.

The event will be held at Plymouth First United Methodist Church (45201 N.Territorial, Plymouth) on Saturday, April 22 nd from 930AM to 1130AM. Check-in will begin at 845AM. Volunteers must pre-register for this event, as space is limited to 160 “soapers”.
