Restaurant Crawl, Plymouth Fall Festival Coming Soon

The Old Village Restaurant Crawl will be held on Aug. 21 while the annual Fall Festival comes up just after Labor Day.

PLYMOUTH, MI — A pair of upcoming Plymouth events are expected to bring thousands of people into town. The Old Village Restaurant Crawl will be held on Aug. 21 and feature seven eateries, while downtown Plymouth will host the annual Fall Festival starting on Sept. 9.

Tickets for the Crawl are $15 and include samples of food from each restaurant and a beer. Tickets for children are just $5. Tickets can be purchased online until Aug. 17.

The event will from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Participating restaurants include Hermann's Olde Town Grille, Jeff Zak Catering, Liberty Street Brewing Company, Station 885, The Honey Hole Market-outdoor table, Beyond Borders-outdoor table, and Wok Asian Bistro-outdoor table.

Aside from online, tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce office, located at 850 W. Ann Arbor Trail in Downtown Plymouth until 4:30 PM the day of OR at the participating restaurants: Beyond Borders, Hermann's Old Town Grille, Jeff Zak Catering, and Station 885 . As for Plymouth’s Fall Festival, it will be held for three days over the downtown area and will include food vendors, service clubs, carnival rides, car show, craft show and of course, and the popular BBQ Chicken Dinner. The Fall Festival grew out of a community family picnic in may of 1956 and was sponsored by the Plymouth Rotary Club.

Friday, Sept. 9

  • 7:00pm – The Dale Hicks Band

Saturday, Sept. 10

  • 9 am- Optimist Pet show.
  • 11 am - Plymouth Fife and Drum Corp
  • Noon - Polish National Alliance Centennial Dancers
  • 1 pm- Lions club Leader Dogs Come celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Lions Club Leader dogs.
  • 2 p.m. - Forever after Productions/Dance Beat
  • 3:30pm - The Plymouth Library’s Presents A2 Magic Jeff Wawrzaszek’s A2 Stand Up Magic Show, featuring skillful sleight-of-hand magic, laugh-a-minute audience participation, pantomime, music and imaginative "magic with a twist.”
  • 4:30pm PCEP Dance Team
  • 7:00pm - Detroit Soul Revue

Sunday, Sept. 11
- 11 a.m.- Midwest Tae Kwan Do
- Noon - CORE Nutrition and Fitness Cardio Kickboxing, Tabada, and Cardio Drumming
- 3 pm - Chiefettes, saberttesm, Rocket's Pompon squads
- 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.- Acoustic Madness Band
