Street Reconstruction Meeting Wednesday
The city of Plymouth will hold an informational meeting Wednesday to discuss reconstruction of Byron Street and others.
PLYMOUTH, MI — An informational meeting on a Byron Street reconstruction project will be held Wednesday by the city of Plymouth. The meeting will be held starting at 6 p.m. at Plymouth City Hall on Main Street. Details of the project will be shared with residents.
The project will affect residents living on Byron between Main and Ross streets as well as those living on Ross between Dewey and Byron streets. The project will include a rebuild the street as well as the installation of new water mains and service leads to the property lines, Plymouth city officials said in a statement.
Construction of the new roadway and water lines could begin as soon as this week. City staff and representatives from the Plymouth’s engineering firm will be on hand at the meeting to explain project details and to answer questions regarding the city’s 2017 Infrastructure Improvement Program.
