Annual Fine Arts Event Held In Rochester Hills
A shopping complex will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery in August. Here are the details.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A popular shopping center in Rochester Hills will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery next month.
The charming location of the Village of Rochester Hills shopping center hosts the 16th Annual Fine Art at the Village of Rochester Hills on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug. 4.
Around 100 artists from across the United States have been invited to show their work at Fine Art at the Village of Rochester Hills. An outside panel of experts juried the entries and has invited artists with the highest scores to participate. Admission to the festival is free and parking is free.

Artwork in every media will be featured including ceramics, glass, painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, fiber art, wood, jewelry and more. Village Fine Art Gallery sponsors the juried art festival.
The artists’ booths will fill the main street of the Village as well as the side streets, and traffic will be closed through the center of the Village. There will be plenty of free parking on the outer rim just a few steps away.

“We believe the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere of the Village of Rochester Hills is the perfect setting to view artwork of this caliber and meet the artists,” said Donna Beaubien, Executive Director of the festival. “Along with enjoying the exciting fine art and fine crafts, patrons can stroll the tree lined streets and visit the over 50 intriguing shop and restaurants. This year, for the first time, the children’s activities will be sponsored and conducted by Barnes & Nobel. “
A special feature of this year’s event is live artists’ demonstrations throughout Saturday and Sunday as well as the special children’s activities for the kids both days. There will be a food court offering delicious specialties and ongoing free entertainment. that has been arranged by Kincer Vocal Coaching & Artist Development.
Hours for the festival are Saturday, Aug. 3, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 4, noon to 6 p.m.
