Metro Detroit Weather Forecast Looks Warm, Sunny

Highs are expected to top out in the mid 80s later this week.

METRO DETROIT, MI — If you plan on enjoying this week’s Woodward Dream Cruise activities, you’ve got a great week of weather to do it. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 80s all week with Thursday seeing the only significant chance of rain.

Monday’s weather is perfect example of what the week will look like. The National Weather Service is calling for a high of near 82 degrees with a low of 66. Here’s a closer look at metropolitan Detroit’s work week weather:

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 83. Southwest wind 3 to 7 mph. Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Northeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 83. East northeast wind 3 to 7 mph. Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Thursday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 82.
