Metro Detroit Weather Forecast: Sunny, Warm

The last week of July and first few days of August will be warm and sunny, according to the National Weather Service.

METRO DETROIT, MI — If you’ve enjoyed this weekend, chances are you’re going to like the weather forecast for the coming week, too. According to the National Weather Service, it’s going to be a mostly sunny week with a chance of rain only popping up on Wednesday and Thursday.

August will roll in with warm temperatures, too. Highs are expected to be in the low to mid 80s all week. Here’s a more detailed look at the Metro Detroit weather forecast:

Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67. Light and variable wind.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 87. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. West wind 3 to 6 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 86. West northwest wind around 6 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 69.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67.

Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Thursday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.
