5 Things To Do Around Royal Oak This Weekend

1. See Les Misérables. Nearly nine months of meticulous preparation went into this blockbuster production, which runs through Sept. 29 at the Baldwin Theatre in downtown Royal Oak. Show time is 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; 2 p.m. Sunday.

2. Laugh with Frances DiLorinzo at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle this weekend. Show time is 8 p.m. and 10:30  Friday; 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $18.

3. Pub Crawl through the streets of downtown Royal Oak with the Siegel family this Saturday. The public is invited to hit the streets for the the Second Annual Jordan & Ashley Siegel Pub Crawl. Visit seven Royal Oak restaurants/bars—Rock on 3rd, Andiamo, O'Tooles, Woody's, Oak City Grille, Lily's Seafood and Red Fox English Pub—for drinks, music, raffles and more. Funds raised support the Ashley & Jordan Siegel Scholarship Fund. Registration is from 11:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Woody's Diner, 208 W. Fifth Ave.

4. Pig out
at the 2nd Annual Royal Oak Ravens Football Golf Outing/Pig Roast at the Royal Oak Golf Course to benefit the Royal Oak High School Ravens football Team. The event begins at 1 p.m. Saturday.

5. Walk in AIDS Walk Detroit 2013 and join the fight against HIV/AIDS on Sunday. Registristation opens at 8 a.m. at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. For additional information and registration, visit aidswalkdetroit.org or call 248-399-9255.
