5K Race Added to Royal Oak's 2013 Oak Apple Run Lineup

For runners and walkers looking for something shorter than a 10K but longer than a 2 mile run, the Oak Apple Run has added a 5K course this year.

And if you register for any of the June 1 race events now, you'll save up to $15 in registration fees. 

In its 36th year, the Oak Apple Run is one of the most popular annual events in Royal Oak. All races start and finish in downtown Royal Oak.

Before April 14, registration is $23 for the 10K; $20 for the 5K; $17 for the 2 mile and $12 for the 1/4 mile kids run. Participants will receive a T-shirt; 1/4 mile kids run participants will receive a "winner's bag" of special awards at the finish line.
