Dessert Oasis Coffee To Open Royal Oak Outlet
Metro Detroit coffee chain and roaster will open new Royal Oak location this spring.
Dessert Oasis Coffee will open its third storefront on Main Street in Royal Oak this spring. The Detroit-based roaster and coffee house leased a space at 115 S. Main in Royal Oak, according to reports in Eater. The location once housed La Dulce and is large enough to seat 80, with enough room for coffee roasting equipment.
The Main Street coffee house will have over 3,200 square feet, allowing Dessert Oasis to house its bakery in Royal Oak, too. The owners plan to maintain the garage doors installed by previous tenants, so the new cafe will bring the outdoors in in warm weather.
Beginning with its first store in 2009, and originally based in one Rochester shop, Dessert Oasis opened the Detroit outlet in 2015.
