Escape The Cold With Royal Oak’s Flavors of India Festival
Family-Friendly Indian Food Festival Offers Treats, Bounce House For The Kids

Thursday, Jan. 11, Royal Oak Farmers Market hosts the 4th Annual Greater Detroit Flavors of India Indian Food Festival. From 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., visitors can sample food from six different Indian restaurants, while also shopping a bazaar and enjoying the DJ services of Naveen Productions. Participating restaurants include Krishna's Restaurants and Catering, Punjab Indian Cuisine, Moti Mahal Indian Restaurant, Tandoors Bar & Grill, and Desi Tadka Indian Cuisine.
According to the event’s Facebook page, “A sumptuous array of delicious dishes will be available, including vegan and vegetarian options.” In addition to the food, DJ, and bazaar, there will also be a bounce house for kids. The event takes place indoors at at Royal Oak Farmers Market, 316 E 11 Mile Rd, Royal Oak.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, and they get you both admission and a $5 voucher for food from any of the vendors. More food can be purchased for cash from the vendors. Tickets can be purchased in advance via the Festival's website or at the door. Children 12 and under receive free admission. The venue offers free parking.
