Former Margarita's Mexican Restaurant Gets New Owner

The Woodward Avenue property was purchased this month by Kevin Denha from previous owner Luis Gomez, Berkley City Planner Amy Vansen said Tuesday.

The former Margarita's Mexican Restaurant in Berkley that has stood vacant for more than a year has a new owner.

The Woodward Avenue property was purchased this month by Kevin Denha from previous owner Luis Gomez, City Planner Amy Vansen said Tuesday.

Vansen said Denha owns a number of T-Mobile stores but has not submitted any applications for the Margarita's site, so she cannot say what his plans are.

Denha has met with an architect regarding his options, cleaned out the building's interior and placed barricades outside due to parking-related issues, Vansen said.
