Oil Dumped On Car Seats Of Kent Road Resident: Police

ROYAL OAK, MI — A Kent Road resident discovered a mess in her car Wednesday morning. According to Royal Oak Police reports, someone poured oil on the seats of her car.

The woman, who lives in the 3000 block of Kent, told police that the oil had to have been dumped between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday, reports said. She said her car was unlocked at the time. Police are investigating the incident.

Breaking and entering

• 500 block of S. Edgeworth, 10-6-17 – 10-9-17, 10:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.; Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered the unsecured home over the weekend and stole copper piping from the basement.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle

• S. Main St. at Lincoln Ave., 10-11-17, 8:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his parked and unlocked 2007 Chevrolet and stole a Phantom drone.

Larceny

• 215 S Main (Mr. B’s), 10-8-17, 1:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole his wallet from his back pocket while he was in the establishment.
• 400 block of Parkdale, 10-3-17 – 10-7-17, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Complainant reported they suspect a family member of stealing lawn equipment from an unlocked shed.
• 25000 block of Woodward, 10-5-17, 12:24 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a USPS package from the entryway of the apartment complex.
• 4000 block of W. Thirteen Mile Rd., 10-9-17, 10:27 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole over $1000.00 from a common area of his apartment.

Malicious Destruction of Property

• 501 S. Washington Ave., (L’Esprit Academy), 10-7-17 – 10-10-17, 4:30 p.m. – 8:15 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) damaged the glass on the front entry door of the business.
