Police Seek Suspect In Royal Oak Walgreens Robbery

Police are looking to identify the man in these photos after an armed robbery at the Walgreens on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak last month.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Royal Oak Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in a Walgreens robbery in December.

Police said a man produced a handgun and demanded money from store employees around 11 p.m. Dec. 29 at the Walgreens on Woodward Avenue. He then fled.

A K-9 unit tracked the man for some time until they reached tire tracks in the snow, police said.
The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported in the robbery.

The man is described as a black male, 5-feet, 9-inches to 6-feet tall, with a thin build, wearing a scarf over his face, black hoodie, black winter hat, grey sweatpants and white tennis shoes.
