ROYAL OAK, MI — The Royal Oak Police Department released its weekly update, detailing crimes they’ve investigated in the area. For the week of Dec. 21 to Dec 28, there were 22 arrests total, and police received calls for breaking and entering, larceny, assault and battery and operating while intoxicated.

Breaking and entering
32686 Woodward Ave., Sometimes between 3:00 p.m. on Dec. 26 and 6:50 a.m. on the 27th, Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered the under-construction location and stole several power hammers, power grinders, saws, and bags of hand tools.

Larceny
300 S. Main Street (Starbucks), Dec. 23 between 4:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.: Complainant reported an
unknown suspect stole cash and jewelry from her purse which was accidentally left behind in
the restroom.
25352 Woodward (LA Fitness), On Dec 26, between 6:30 a.m. and 7:35 a.m.: Complainant reported an
unknown suspect removed the lock from his locker and stole his wallet

5150 Coolidge Hwy., (Meijer), On Dec 21, between 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an
unknown female suspect stole her walking cane from the service desk area of the store.

- Three (3) Operating While Intoxicated
- One (1) Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense
