Royal Oak Police Blotter Update: Larceny, Breaking and Entering

ROYAL OAK, MI — The Royal Oak Police Department released its weekly update, detailing crimes they've investigated in the area. For the week of Jan. 18 to Jan. 25, there were 29 arrests total, and police received calls for breaking and entering, larceny, assault and battery and operating while intoxicated.

907 S. Main St. (Pure Open MRI), Sometime between 5:00 p.m on Jan. 19 and 10:28 p.m. on Jan. 21. an unknown suspect(s) broke the entry door glass and stole two televisions from the business.
Larceny from Motor Vehicle

Fairgrove Ave & Chambers St. Sometime between 3:50 a.m. on Dec. 30, 2017 and Jan. 2 at 6:00 p.m. an unknown suspect(s) smashed the rear window of the victim’s 2015 Jeep and stole a DJ mixing board.
1000 block of N. Washington Ave., Between noon on Jan. 21 and 2:00 p.m. on Jan. 22, an unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked 2015 Ford and stole a Dell laptop computer.
Larceny
3000 block of Thirteen Mile Rd. On Ja. 12 between noon and 8 p.m. an
unknown suspect(s) stole a package from the victim’s doorstep.
500 block of S. Pleasant St. Sometime between 11:00 p.m. on Jan. 19 and noon on Jan. 20, an unknown suspect(s) stole a small angel statue off a front porch.
27880 Woodward Ave. (Trader Joes). On Jan 18, between 7 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., a woman reported that someone entered her unlocked 2017 Chevrolet and stole her iPhone.
Malicious Destruction of Property
1000 N. Main St.. On Jan. 23, between 9:40 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. a woman reported an unknown suspect(s) slashed the left rear tire on her 2013 Buick.
