Royal Oak Police Blotter Update: Larceny And Vehicle Theft

This week's update from Royal Oak Police contained five OUI, four disorderly conducts, and much more. See what area police have been up to.

The Royal Oak Police Department released its weekly update, detailing crimes they've investigated in the area. For the week of Jan. 4 to Jan. 11, there were 32 arrests total, and police received calls for breaking and entering and larceny.

Breaking and entering

202 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (Former Vintage). Sometime between 8:10 a.m. on Jan. 3 and 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 4, an unknown suspect or suspects damaged the rear door and entered the business, stealing t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts and shoes.

Vehicle Theft

4400 block of Springer. Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 and 10:00 a.m. on Jan. 10, An unknown suspect or suspects stole a 2017 Volkswagen from the complaining victim’s assigned parking space.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle

1720 Rochester Rd. (Speedway). On Jan. 7 between 11:30 p.m. and 11:48 p.m., an unknown suspect or suspects opened the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and stole her cellphone.

S. Lafayette Ave at W. Sixth St. Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 6 and 12:15 a.m. on Jan. 7, a man reported unknown suspect stole a Nintendo game system from his parked 2003 Honda.

Larceny

2100 block of Wickham St. Sometime between 4 p.m. on Jan. 8 and 1 p.m. Jan. 8, an unknown suspect or suspects stole a vehicle bike rack, a set of snow skis and ski poles from the front porch of a residence.

  • Three (3) Drove While License Suspended and Misdemeanor Warrant
  • One (1) Drove While License Suspended, Misdemeanor Warrant, and Disorderly Conduct
  • Five (5) Operating While Intoxicated
  • Two (2) Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense
  • One (1) Operating While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana
  • Three (3) Possession of Marijuana
  • One (1) Possession of Ecstasy and Felony Warrant
  • One (1) Possession of LSD and Possession of Marijuana
