Fans Storm Field, Royal Oak Ravens Notch Win
Fans rush the field after ROHS beats Ferndale, 31-7.
Students and other fans spilled out onto the field Friday night as the Ravens beat Ferndale, 31-7.
"It's great for Royal Oak football," said head coach Ryan Irish. "It was great for the kids to storm the field and all those things, but the biggest thing that I want to say is that we want to keep doing this. It's not just a one time thing. We're not going to get just one win. The expectation is that we do more of this and we continue to work hard."
Royal Oak will try to build on its 1-1 start in its next game on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. against the Yellow Jackets at Auburn Hills Avondale.
