Here's some of what Royal Oak police have been up to between Aug. 8 and 11.
ROYAL OAK, MI — Royal Oak police sent out a release including 33 arrests and several reports, including thefts from unlocked cars, malicious destruction of property and more between Aug. 8 and 11.

Malicious Destruction of Property
Between midnight and 11 a.m., a complainant reported, somebody smashed the rear wondow of his car.

Aug. 9
Larceny from Motor Vehicle
Between 9 p.m. on Aug. 9 and 10 a.m. on Aug. 10, a complainant reported, somebody stole loose change from the center console of an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Fernwood.
Larceny
A complainant reported that somebody used bolt cutters to cut the lock on a mountain bike in front of the Planet Fitness at 2560 Road and stole it.
A complainant reported that between 6:40 p.m. on Aug. 9 and 9:45 p.m. on Aug. 10, his Nishiki men's bike was stolen from his front porch in the 800 block of Forestdale Road.
A hotel manager reported that a guest stole property and cash from the front desk area of the hotel at 811 E. 11 Mile Road. A suspect was later arrested.
Aug. 10
Larceny from Motor Vehicle
Between 4 and 5:30 p.m., a complainant reported, somebody stole a laptop from her unlocked car at Third and Main Street.
Larceny
Between 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 and 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 11, a complainant reported, somebody cut the locks off tool trailers in the 25000 block of Woodward and stole several tools.
Aug. 11
Breaking and Entering
Between 7 p.m. and 10:20 a.m., a complainant reported, somebody pryed open the door of the Sprint at 31668 Woodward and entered, but nothing was stolen.
Malicious Destruction of Property
A complainant reported that around 3 p.m., somebody kicked a dent into the door of his parked vehicle in the 300 block of W. Seventh and ran away.
Police made 33 arrests during that time period:
