Tires Stolen Off Of 2017 Dodge Durango Parked In Driveway: Royal Oak Weekly Police Report

ROYAL OAK, MI — A man alerted Royal Oak police upon discovering the wheels and tires had been stolen from his 2017 Dodge Durango while it was parked in the driveway, according to a police report.

Police say the theft happened in the 4000 block of Springer sometime between Dec. 29, 2016 to Dec. 30, 2016 during the hours of 8:30 p.m. – 8:15 a.m. The suspect(s) also stole items from inside the owner's detached unlocked garage.

Breaking and entering

700 block of N. Vermont, 1-1-17, 4:30 a.m. – 4:36 a.m.: Complainant reported returning to their residence and discovered an unknown suspect in the residence who quickly fled the home. Nothing was reported missing or damaged.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle

400 Block of Oakdale, 12-29-16 – 12-30-16, 3:00 p.m. – 9:45 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole the spare car key and a phone charger.

1000 block of Bauman Ave. 1-3-17 – 1-4-17, 12:00 p.m.- 5:35 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2008 GMC and stole a Sony camera and lens.

1000 block of Bauman Ave. 1-3-17 – 1-4-17, 4:30 p.m.- 5:45 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2011 Ford and stole a wallet and sunglasses.

1000 block of Bauman Ave. 1-3-17 – 1-4-17, 8:00 p.m.- 6:14 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2003 Ford and stole a spare vehicle key and a flashlight.

1000 block of Bauman Ave. 1-4-17, 12:00 a.m.- 7:50 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2003 Ford and stole a back pack, a tool box, and a flashlight.

Larceny

2020 Bellaire (O’Sullivan Moving), 12-9-16 – 12-19-16, 12:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a TV from an unlocked storage area in the building.

Malicious Destruction of Property

Hilldale Dr. & Greenleaf Dr., 12-31-16, 8:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Complainant reported that two unknown suspects were observed spray painting the railroad viaduct with graffiti.

122 S, Main St. (Yogurt City), 12-30-16 – 12-31-16, 11:00 p.m. – 9:53 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke a rear window at the business.
