Today's Good Morning Saline Greeting is given by Pete Capling of Holiday Lighting Service in Manchester. Capling was stringing holiday lights on the trees in downtown Saline. This winter, when you're struck by the beautiful lights in downtown Saline, remember that Pete Capling was up there making it all possible.

The sun will rise at 7:38 a.m. and set at 7:09 p.m. We'll have clear skies and a temperature of 63 when Saline's varsity football team kicks off at Ann Arbor Huron tonight.

212 Artist of the Month Has A Reception Friday

Potter Sharon Graf-Horning is the Two Twelve Art Center's Artist of the Month. Her pottery is on display all month. A reception will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Two Twelve Arts.

Tracking The Hornets

The Saline JV football team defeated Huron 45-0. The freshman team had their game postponed because Huron had transportation issues. The game will be played at 4 p.m. today at Ann Arbor Huron. Meanwhile, the varsity football team also hopes to get back to winning ways tonight with a rare Thursday night game. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Ann Arbor Huron.

Nî Hâo Saline!

Saline Reporter special writer Lori Maranville wrote a story about the new Mandarin Chinese language lessons offered through Saline Community Education. The fun-fllled learning expeiernce developed by Chris Lin feature his Mandy and Pandy book and CD series. The program was at Woodland Meadows Elementary School last year.
