Good Morning Saline From the 5 Einstein Aces

This Pleasant Ridge Elementary Destination Imagination team won the "Spirit of DI Award." It's not hard to see why, is it?

Today's Good Morning Saline greeters are Ashlyn Stager, Jason Coleman, Owen Pichla, Annie Liemohn and Noah Socha.

They are the 5 Einstein Aces, a -based third-grade Destination Imagination team (with one fourth grader from Heritage) who competed in last weekend's DI Affiliate Finals, which are like the state finals.

The team won the "Spirit of DI Award," which is given to only one of the 300 teams who competed in the tournament.

This amazing first-year elementary team won this prize because of their grace under pressure. When their equipment broke two minutes into their eight-minute skit, they continued to accomplish their tasks.

According to the Destination Imagination appraiser:

After only 2 minutes, this team's equipment literally fell apart. Instead of getting frustrated and sad, this team was upbeat, enthusiastic, and became the little engine that could. While the driver put in a 120%, his team gave ginormous support and carried the driver until the end of the presentation, making his team's attitude unforgettable to the appraisers.

Congrats to the 5 Einstein Aces.
