The Saline High School boys' soccer team with Chelsea. The varsity volleyball team improved its SEC record with a at Ann Arbor Pioneer. The varsity golf team remained undefeated in the SEC play after with Pioneer and Tecumseh. Also, on Monday, the boys' water polo team edged Okemos, 16-14.
Football Team Hears Story of Overcoming Adversity
University of Michigan senior football player Elliot Mealer gave a talk to the Saline varsity football team about overcoming grief, and Saline High School student journalist Jill Borowski filed a story about it. The talk is part of the high school's week-long campaign to raise awareness for Ele's Place, a center which which helps children and young adults deal with grief. The campaign concludes Friday when Saline's varsity football team hosts Bedford at 7 p.m.

Yesterday we asked if the city should spend $15,000 on a part-time officer to enforce the rules in downtown parking lots. Of the 48 respondents, 16 said Yes, 30 said No, and two said they were Not Sure.
