The ice rink at Henne Field has been closed.
"The rain and rising temperatures today have made the ice rink unskateable. The rink is now closed," said Jeff Fordice, Director of the Department of Public Works.
It appears unlikely the rink willl reopen for , when the rink was to be the site of ice skating demonstrations and open public skating.

"Weather conditions look unfavorable for the next ten days. The will continue to monitor the rink and open it when ice conditions are satisfactory," said Fordice.
