Home Sweet Home for Saline's Water Polo Team
Saline defeated Birmingham Groves, 9-8 on Senior Night at Saline High School.
It was home, sweet home one last time for the Hornets water polo seniors Tuesday.
Saline built a 9-5 lead after three quarters and held on to win 9-8 over Birmingham Groves.
Senior James Fisher scored five goals and had six steals to lead the Hornets. Senior Will McCullough made 11 saves and had four steals and an assist. Senior Tom Walls also scored and had a steal for Saline.

Junior Lucas Allen scored twice and added four assists and three steals. Junior Michael Bundas added a goal, assist and steal. Junior Matt Lund had two steals.
The game was tied at one after the first period with Fisher scoring Saline's goal. In the second period, Saline outscored Groves 3-2, with Allen scoring twice and Fisher adding his second of the night. The Hornets piled up five goals in the third, with Fisher scoring three more goals and Walls and Budas each scoring once.
